Supervision for
associate professional counselors
Becoming a therapist is a journey—one that’s exciting, challenging, and constantly evolving. Supervision is where you build the foundation for your career, and I’m here to help you do that with clarity, confidence, and a deeper understanding of yourself as a clinician. Watching my supervisees expand in their skills and step into their potential is one of the most meaningful parts of what I do.
Coming from a holistic psychotherapy background, my approach to supervision integrates mindfulness, body-oriented psychotherapy, and psychospirituality. This means that when we meet for supervision, you can expect more than just case consultations—you’ll experience a grounded, reflective space that supports both your professional and personal growth. We may start with a brief grounding meditation to settle in before diving into the work, and I will almost always ask for your insights before sharing my own. My goal is to help you trust your clinical instincts while also providing the knowledge, tools, and feedback that will strengthen your confidence and skills.

my approach
To make sure supervision meets you where you are, I use two key models:
✨ The Developmental Model – Every clinician moves through different stages of growth. If you're just starting out, you might need more structure, hands-on guidance, and reassurance as you build confidence. As you progress, you’ll refine your approach, deepen your skills, and step into more autonomy. Supervision evolves with you, making sure you have the right balance of support and challenge at each stage.
✨ The Discrimination Model – Supervision isn’t one-size-fits-all, and this model allows me to shift between different roles based on what you need in the moment:
As a teacher, I’ll help you develop clinical skills, understand theory, and apply best practices.
As a counselor, I’ll support you in processing your own emotional responses and personal growth as they relate to your work.
As a consultant, I’ll provide guidance while also encouraging you to trust yourself and develop your own clinical voice.
Best Fit
I provide supervision for clinicians working with teens and adults, as that’s where my expertise and passion lie. If your focus is on working with kiddos under the age of 13, I may not be the best fit simply because early childhood therapy requires a different skill set and approach that isn’t my specialty. I want to make sure you get the best guidance possible, so if your heart is set on working with younger children, I’d be happy to help you find a supervisor who specializes in that area. However, if you’re working with adolescents, young adults, or adults navigating life transitions, trauma, anxiety, grief, or mind-body healing, then we’ll likely be a great match!
